This position works out of our Temecula, CA location in the Abbott Vascular Division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

ProvideProcess/QualityEngineeringsupporttomanufacturing,helpingtoensuredeliveryofhighestquality producttothecustomer.
ProvideProcess/Quality Engineeringsupporttoproductdevelopmentteams,helping toensuredevelopmentofhighestqualitynewproducts.
ResponsibleforcompliancewithapplicableCorporateandDivisionalPoliciesandprocedures.
LearnstoidentifyManufacturingprocessdefects(scrap,nonconformingmaterial,customercomplaints)by dispositioningnon-conformingmaterial,assistinginidentificationofprimaryrootcausesandunderstanding correctiveandpreventativeactions.Mayberesponsibleforworkingwithprocessownertoboundproduct stopsanddocumentreleasecriteria.
Gainsunderstandingofproductqualityplans,documentsandsystems byreviewingproductspecifications,qualityspecifications,andworkingwithqualitysystems.Maybe responsibleforlearningriskanalysesandFMEAs.
LearnsProcessMonitoringSystemsbybecoming familiarwithsystemsapplicationsandcriticalprocesssteps;andthroughfamiliarizationwithmethodsusedto reduceprocessvariation.
BecomesfamiliarwithProduct/Processimprovementeffortsbyunderstanding currentqualitymetricdataandlearningthevariousanalysismethodsusedtoenhancesustainingproduct designandnewproductdevelopment.

Required Experience
Bachelor's degreein a related field.
