Job description

Could you be our next Billing Representative at Lankenau Medical Center?

  • Make an Impact! As a Billing Representative, you will play an integral role in the success of Main Line Health by ensuring third party payer claims are billed via the Epic Resolute module in an accurate and timely manner. Using your attention to detail, you will be responsible for reviewing and resolving daily system edits and clearinghouse edits, as well as resolving CBO Charge Review and Claim edits. Using Epic Resolute Claims work queue processing, you will prepare and submit insurance claims with all required documentation through electronic and/or manual processes in accordance with established guidelines and policies. The work you do makes a tremendous impact!
  • Develop and Grow your Career! Invest in furthering your education through seeking certifications or advanced degrees by taking advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status.

You will be actively participating in regularly scheduled department meetings providing insight into daily work responsibilities and current trends/issues. You will also remain up-to-date on departmental procedures, payer contracts and insurance billing regulations.

    Position: Billing Representative
    Shift: Full-Time Day Schedule, 100% On-Site
    Experience:
    1. Minimum of one year healthcare billing experience and/or accounts receivable experience utilizing automated patient accounting systems (Epic Resolute desirable) preferred.
    2. MS Office applications experience including intermediate Excel proficiency required.
    3. Knowledge of insurance contracts, billing regulations and medical terminology preferred.
    4. Knowledge of HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 and revenue codes preferred.
    Education:
    High School Diploma / GED required.
    Licensures/Certifications:
    Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)/American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM), or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)/Healthcare Financial Management Association desirable.
