Overview

The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for responding to the needs of housekeepers, management, and dispatch. The Housekeeping Aide must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials. They will assist with the removal of dirty linens as well as assist with stocking linens, making beds, stocking supplies and picking up debris around the outside grounds of properties. They will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards

The Housekeeping Aide will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently strip, stock and make beds in assigned units to Sunriver Resort standards
  • Wipes down outdoor patio furniture and sweeps patio area off
  • Checks exterior for trash and trash enclosures; picks up any loose trash and reports full bins
  • Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
  • Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment
  • Maintains effective organization, layout, cleanliness, security, upkeep of all storage closets and facilities
  • Keeps accurate and legible records of all services
  • Follows Sunriver Resort Key/Pin Policy
  • Follow Sunriver Resort COVID policies while on property
  • Helps maintain a clean and safe working environment in the housekeeping department
  • Always maintains a professional appearance, demeanor and attitude. Follows all Sunriver Resort dress code standards
  • Communicates all pertinent information to the housekeeping team
  • Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, maintains accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms
  • Remains alert, courteous and helpful to resort staff, guests and colleagues at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior houseman experience preferred
  • One year of customer service experience required
