Video Data Collection & Robot Operations Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA / San Diego, CA / Cupertino, CA
Work Mode: Onsite

Job Summary:
Avanciers are looking for a Video Data Collection & Robot Operations Specialist to support video data capture and robot-assisted field operations. The role involves setting up and operating DSLR/iPhone or approved capture devices, managing media offloads, supporting robot operations, and ensuring all collected data meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute indoor and outdoor video data collection using DSLR, iPhone, or approved capture devices.
  • Set up, configure, pair, and validate cameras and related equipment before data collection.
  • Support robot-assisted operations, including basic operational checks and calibration activities.
  • Perform media/data offloads and verify captured footage for completeness and quality.
  • Follow capture protocols, quality checklists, equipment-handling procedures, and field-operation guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot basic device, camera, connectivity, and capture issues and escalate technical problems when required.
  • Maintain equipment, media, and collection records throughout field operations.

Required Skills:

  • 1–2 years of experience in video data collection, camera operations, field operations, or a related technical environment.
  • Hands-on experience with DSLR/iPhone or similar video capture devices.
  • Camera/device setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Media offload and file/data management experience.
  • Exposure to robotics operations and calibration processes.
  • Strong attention to video/data quality and protocol compliance.
  • Comfortable working onsite and handling technical equipment in field environments.

Preferred: Experience supporting robotics, autonomous systems, user studies, sensor data collection, or technology-focused field operations.
