Role Description The Automotive Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine services such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and basic maintenance to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. The role also involves diagnosing mechanical issues, completing automotive repairs, and working on suspension and other key systems according to manufacturer and shop standards. The technician will maintain accurate service records, follow safety protocols, keep the work area clean and organized, and communicate clearly with service advisors and team members about repair needs and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and basic Maintenance & Repair practices.
  • Proficiency in performing Oil Changes and routine service checks.
  • Experience with general Automotive Repair, including diagnostics and corrective work.
  • Knowledge of Suspension systems and related components.
  • Ability to use automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices safely and effectively.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety standards.
  • Relevant automotive certifications or technical training preferred (ASE or equivalent is a plus).
  • Previous experience in an auto repair or service environment strongly preferred.
  • Reliable transportation, punctuality, and ability to work full-time on-site in Houston, TX.
