Join Our Team as a Locum Radiologist in Wooster, OH – Make an Impact in Emergency and Acute Care Radiology!
Are you a skilled Radiologist looking for a flexible, rewarding opportunity in a vibrant community? We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician to join our team in Wooster, Ohio, providing essential imaging services in a busy hospital setting. This role offers a chance to work with a dynamic team, handle high-volume emergency cases, and make a difference in patient outcomes—all while enjoying competitive compensation and the freedom of a locum position.
Required Skills:
  • Valid medical license and board certification in Radiology
  • Proven experience reading ER and acute care imaging, including CT, XR, MR, US, and NM
  • Ability to interpret stroke/perfusion studies and all CT scans excluding cardiac CT
  • Strong diagnostic skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with MERGE imaging platforms
  • Familiarity with neuro, MSK, and stroke imaging
  • Ability to adapt to hospital protocols and multi-modality case mixes
  • Prior locum or temporary radiology coverage experience

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified in Radiology with active state licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency or acute care radiology
  • Previous work in hospital-based settings preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to start by April 28, 2026, with flexible scheduling options
  • Must be comfortable working remotely in accordance with hospital policies
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and overnight coverage if necessary
  • Professional liability insurance coverage (malpractice) included in compensation
  • Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements when applicable
