The Analyst, A&R Administration provides critical operational support for artist recording projects. This role is focused on ensuring accuracy in vendor set ups, accounts, payments, and correspondence while providing overall administrative support. The Analyst collaborates closely with internal departments and external partners to support the successful execution of artist projects and streamline administrative workflows.
What you'll do:
  • Support A&R Administration on all department needs.
  • Handle all vendor set ups including verification and accounts.
  • Process all purchase orders, invoices. maintaining meticulous records for audit purposes.
  • Prepare producer decs, work for hires, remix agreements, and union contracts (AFM and SAG-AFTRA).
  • Scan all relevant documents into Digital filing system.
  • Assist with Royalty inquiries - externally and internally.
  • Assist in the preparation of Financial project reports for Label Roster.
  • Maintain and organize departmental records, including budgets, contracts, and correspondence as well as maintain central drive of all records.
Who you are:
  • 3-5 years of experience in music administration, finance, or legal, preferably within a record label, business management or entertainment company.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and basic knowledge of music industry contracts.
  • Proficiency in proprietary systems and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
