What you'll do: This position is responsible for HVAC systems, oversight of HVAC field staff, and other environmental systems operations across the R&R portfolio, as well as project management by performing the following duties personally or through team members and/or vendors.

  • Supervise all HVAC Controls initiatives including supervision of system upgrades and modifications. Establish procedures to ensure building systems provide optimum performance and implement necessary safeguards to ensure systems continuity and cost control.
  • Evaluate HVAC Systems and provide recommendations on the integrity of system repairs and enhancements as needed to meet customer expectations.
  • Review all base building and tenant improvement plans to ensure compliance with HVAC sections of tenant improvement manual.
  • Assist construction team in developing project scope, project schedules, and review of HVAC proposals as needed.
  • Review building controls on set schedule to ensure efficient operations.
  • Serve as a mentor to all general maintenance and multifamily staff. Provide direction and guidance, as necessary.
  • Ensure all scheduled preventative maintenance is completed on time and to the expected level.
  • Identify future technologies, new systems, and efficiencies.
  • Develops or participates in writing specifications for equipment, systems, and services.
  • Partner with brokerage team to market HVAC systems technology and capabilities.
  • Drive to all R&R properties and third-party accounts and various locations as required.
  • Work overtime to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction, as required.

What it takes to join our team: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 5-7 years related experience and/or training; Journeyperson license, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
