The Opportunity:

Are you someone who enjoys using your high attention to detail while performing a variety of tasks to support the logistics of an event? If so, this is a great opportunity for you to intern with the Communications team at the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. The Role:

The intern will contribute to the digital marketing, planning and logistics of two AI NOW events and the annual REimagine! Conference and Expo. They will see first-hand what goes in to making an event happen, including event marketing, session planning and event logistics. The position will work directly with the Marketing Managers to update websites, execute logistical planning, and track digital engagement for email and social media campaigns. Lots of variety – you won’t be bored!


Job Title: Event Planning & Marketing Intern
Reports To: Marketing Services and Events Manager
Group: Communications and Marketing
Duration: 06/08/2026 to 08/28/2026 (20 hours per week)
Compensation Range: $18.47 per hour


Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Logistics (Work closely with the marketing team on the following):
    • Manage content and schedule updates on event websites and app.
    • Help coordinate speaker and session logistics, including communication with and following up with speakers on contracts, bios, headshots, presentations, videos and other event collateral.
    • Responsible for communication with venue staff
    • Research innovative conference ideas, event vendors and attendee engagement ideas.
  • Digital Marketing (Work closely with the Marketing Managers on the following):
    • Create and program email drip campaigns and social media campaigns pre-event.
    • Post social media content across social platforms during the live event.
  • Track Performance Rresults:
    • Provide performance analytics on marketing promotions (email and social media).
    • Set up and track post-event results including analyzing attendee and session surveys, gathering attendee feedback testimonials, usage of event tags on social media and other post-event items.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Some college completed
    • Must provide proof of being enrolled as a current fulltime student or having graduated Spring 2026
  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • College-level Communications or Marketing courses
  • Experience using website and social media platform tools such as Wix, Sprout Social, Canva and Pardot.
