The Data Analytics Intern is responsible for processing, analysis, and data visualization across any of the lines of business at Nicolet National Bank. Strong communication skills, ability to work across department lines, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are essentials to thrive in this position.
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will:
  • Assist with execution of in-house processes focused on data management, data visualization, and data analytics.
  • Assist with implementation and management of dashboard design and scalable data maintenance with focus on new analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analytics to business line leaders.
  • Responsible for breaking down complex datasets and providing detailed analysis in consumable ways to aid discussions with department leaders.
  • Responsible for data aggregation between multiple datasets with varying data structures aimed at creating efficient data streams for analytics.
  • Assist in projects providing analysis, requirements, design, testing and implementation.
  • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

Qualifications:
  • Student currently in school, working towards Data Analytics, or Finance Degree, Junior or Senior preferred.
  • Classroom or working experience with SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI or Alteryx is a plus.
  • Strong logic-based skills (math, reasoning, analytical, decision-making).
    Ability to formulate & execute basic to complex mathematical formulas to perform analysis that supports decision-making or other action.
    Ability to build proficiency with data technologies such as Tableau, Alteryx, and other bank based systems (Navigator, Director, Viewpoint, ZM Financial, Business Analytics, Salesforce, etc).
    Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
