Job description

Overview:

With a culture built on safety, service, fun and friendliness, integrity, innovation, and results orientation, our mission at Six Flags New England is to create fun and thrills for all ages.

Pay Range: $30 to $50/Hour


Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and installing all plumbing in park-owned properties
  • Maintaining and installing all piping, drainage, venting ,all fixtures, leaks, backups, clogs and any other related issues
  • Winterization and startup of all plumbing in all the buildings
  • Interpreting blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
  • HVAC work including preventative maintenance changing filters, cleaning coils, changing belts and coordinating outside contract work
  • Refrigeration work including PM and diagnosing issues. Coordinate outside contractor work
  • Monitor and test fire protection pumps. Coordinate annual testing
  • Monitor sewer ejector systems
  • Monitor Fire protection piping and coordinate any outside contractor work
  • Repair any gas or propane leaks
  • Schedule hours for plumbing shop
  • Repair all air lines on rides and install new systems
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:
  • Valid Massachusetts Plumbers License
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
  • Willingness to work in a high performance team environment
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
  • 18 years old or older with a valid drivers license and clean driving history
