Job description

As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for solving Payroll issues, stemming from restaurant team members, managers, and Support Center staff globally. Successful candidates are passionate and enthusiastic about helping others, eager to learn new skills, and are detail oriented. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Audit, review, and reconcile Restaurant, International and Support Center payrolls on a weekly basis
  • Distribute weekly audit reports to Payroll Specialists & Coordinators
  • Assist in the training of Payroll Specialists & Coordinators
  • Maintain a high level of customer service through timely response to emails and tickets
  • Execute all payroll processes while complying with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Run and analyze payroll audits & reporting
  • Process end to end payroll while coordinating with team members globally
  • Process complex off-cycle payments (Reversals, Overpayments, Duplicate Employee Merges)
  • Assist with research and resolution of payroll related matters
  • Document and maintain best practices for payroll processing and implement new procedures as needed
  • Act as Payroll subject matter expertise across payroll processes and payroll compliance
  • Maintain documentation and SOPs for all payroll processes
  • Execute end to end Payroll testing
  • Support international payroll processing
  • Support Payroll tax processes
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality for all payroll/HR-related items
  • Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests
  • Work closely with HR and business teams, including but not limited to Benefits, Compliance, HR Transformation, Organization, Change Management, Operations, Accounting and Finance
  • Complete ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned by leadership
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required

  • Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
  • Payroll processing experience required
  • Experience with Workday preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
  • Strong computer skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to use sound judgement and maintain confidentiality of information
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented culture and meets critical deadlines
  • Ability to work in a highly structured team environment
  • Ability to maintain strict adherence to outlined procedures
  • Ability to have a flexible work schedule due to work volume fluctuations
