• R e sponsible for implementing and maintain the Corporate Health, Safety, Security and Environmental
( H S S E ) programs for assigned areas of work as directed.
• D e velops a thorough working knowledge of the HSSE functions as the relate and correspond to, regulatory compliance, company policy and procedures, client procedures and best practices.
• E n s u r e s worksites assigned to are in compliance with corporate standards, governmental regulations and client standards.
• D e velops reports, plans, conducts assessments, provides trend analysis, manages records, and
i n t e r f a ces on a regular basis with the client’s project/site personnel.

F UNCTIONS OF THE JOB• P r o vides expertise, implementation, leadership and coaching during incident investigations, including causal factor determination and corrective actions plans.
• P e r f o r m s safety audits periodically both internally and/or with third party auditors.
• Pa r t i cipates in safety committees.
• E n t e r and track safety metrics and information, including the input of incident investigations/corrective actions into our HSSE database software system.

Daily Responsibilities• A d m i n i strative review and support of job permits.
• P r e p a r a t i o n and/or guidance with the daily JHA, pre-use inspections, pre-job hazard assessment and
a l l other pre-job documentation for hazard identification/mitigation – daily implementation of proactive measures for hazard controls identified.
• R e view JHAs completed by craft personnel for quantity and quality.
• I m p l e m e n t proactive steps for improved safety during job walks, observations, or audits.
• P a r t i cipate where applicable in contractor safety meetings.
• P r e - shift and ongoing work set up and calibration of technical safety equipment (atmospheric monitoring equipment, etc.).
