Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top talent. We are currently seeking a Accounting Specialist for a client within the Accounting & Finance industry.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. This role works closely with leadership, including the CFO, to assist with financial close processes, tax planning, budgeting, audits, and other key accounting functions while offering opportunities for long-term professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) operations.
  • Prepare and maintain General Ledger entries and support monthly accounting close activities.
  • Prepare month-end financial statements and assist with corporate budgets and forecasting.
  • Support federal and state income tax return preparation, estimated tax filings, and tax planning initiatives.
  • Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities while evaluating the tax implications of business decisions.
  • Maintain the company's asset management program and assist with year-end audit preparation.
  • Partner with the CFO on special projects and provide accounting support to operating units as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of General Ledger accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting A/R, A/P, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
  • Familiarity with corporate tax preparation, tax planning, and audit support.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Korean/English Bilingual

Compensation
