Position Summary

Seeking a seasoned, dual-licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer experienced in all aspects of funeral home operations including:

  • Family arrangements
  • Embalming and preparation
  • Directing funeral and memorial services
  • Church services
  • Care center responsibilities

Ideal candidates are polished professionals capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with diverse families and service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with families to coordinate funeral arrangements
  • Conduct and direct funeral/memorial services
  • Coordinate church and graveside services
  • Respond to after-hours calls and dispatch removal services
  • Support operations across multiple nearby locations
  • Maintain compassionate and professional family interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Mortuary Science required
  • Dual Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer required
  • Must meet Michigan licensing requirements
  • Several years of industry experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits
