Job description

Qualifications
  • 0 to 12 months of experience as a Groundman or in a related outdoor labor position.
  • Basic knowledge of the tools and equipment commonly used in tree care and vegetation management operations.
  • Ability to safely operate chainsaws and wood chippers while performing ground operations in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris, processing limbs and branches, and using rakes and blowers to complete site cleanup.
  • Ability to inspect, operate, and perform routine maintenance on assigned tools and equipment.
  • Willingness and ability to respond to after-hours emergency callouts, including storm restoration and other emergency response work.
  • Physical ability to perform strenuous manual labor, including lifting, bending, walking on uneven terrain, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to successfully pass required pre-employment and/or random drug screenings in accordance with company policy.
  • Demonstrates a dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and a strong willingness to learn new skills, follow direction, and grow within the company.
