Position Overview

Blissful Acupuncture Solutions is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic team in Newport News, Virginia. This full-time position will involve working collaboratively with our dedicated healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care within an outpatient office environment. Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence at our outpatient clinic in Newport News. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life equilibrium. Staff members may work across two clinic locations, gaining versatile experience and exposure to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform acupuncture treatments using a variety of techniques and tools, including needles, cups, ear balls, seeds, pellets, and nutritional supplements, to address patient conditions and promote overall health.
• Guide and educate patients concerning holistic health topics, including meditation practices, ergonomics, stretching routines, dietary choices, exercise regimens, and various relaxation techniques.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and recommend modifications to treatment plans to optimize health restoration and maintenance.
• Administer heat or cold therapy as necessary, utilizing effective therapeutic materials like heat pads, hydro collator packs, and cold compresses.
• Conduct thorough assessments by analyzing patient medical histories and physical findings to make informed diagnoses per Oriental medicine traditions. Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies tailored to each patient.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
• A Master’s degree in acupuncture or Oriental medicine from an accredited program (Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine - ACAOM) is required.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted licensure to practice acupuncture.
• Board certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), with current certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Ability to connect with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds, implementing effective communication skills to convey complex information simply and empathetically.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of professional acupuncture experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment, collaborating with other health professionals to provide integrative patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between $66,757 and $104,996 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
