Job description
TheCrisis Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership and managementof the state's crisis continuum, including the state's crisis line, warmline,988 efforts, mobile crisis outreach teams and crisis receiving centers. This position also oversees disasterpreparedness and supervision of the PASRR team. This role requires a deepunderstanding of community-based crisis and stabilization services, programdevelopment and administration, with a focus on evidence-based care andtrauma-informed practices. The Crisis Administrator will oversee the crisis andstabilization services team, coordinate with state and national partners, andmanage the state's complex crisis services budget.
Examples of duties:
- Coordinate with local, state and national partners and stakeholders on crisis response, prevention and postvention efforts.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in crisis services, including assessment, intervention, and referral.
- Monitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; makes recommendations for improvement.
- Assess existing resources and identify gaps in services/needs based on local, state and federal program/agency/organization priorities.
- Promote evidence-based care and trauma-informed practices within the crisis and stabilization continuum.
- Utilize data to inform and develop quality improvement efforts for crisis and stabilization services.
- Manage the state's crisis services budget and allocations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Apply for and oversee multiple federally awarded grants and required programs.
- Submit legislative and federally required reports related to crisis services.
- Oversee the state's disaster preparedness efforts, including planning, training, response coordination, and management of the state's behavioral health medical reserve component
- Oversee the state's PASRR program, team and its administration, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
