Product Owner III Job Summary

Gather and document requirements for hospital‑specific identity use cases, translate complex healthcare workflows into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps, and support the IAM backlog refinement with clear prioritization of high‑risk use cases.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and document requirements for hospital‑specific identity use cases.
  • Work with hospital stakeholders (clinical operations, compliance, security) to identify access gaps, delays, and risk areas.
  • Translate complex healthcare workflows into user stories and acceptance criteria, and process maps for identity lifecycle events (JML).
  • Support IAM backlog refinement with clear prioritization of high‑risk healthcare use cases.
  • Develop and execute test plans for SailPoint IIQ workflows impacting clinical and high‑risk systems.
  • Validate timely provisioning/deprovisioning of hospital users, correct role assignments for clinical staff, and access certification campaigns for regulated systems.
  • Perform end‑to‑end testing across integrations (HR → SailPoint → AD/Entra ID → EPIC/clinical apps).
  • Track defects impacting patient‑care systems, support access certification and audit processes tied to HIPAA, least privilege, segregation of duties, and regulatory controls.
  • Assist in documenting controls, test evidence, and validation artifacts for audits.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) + 6 years of directly related work experience, or a master’s degree + 4 years of directly related work experience.
  • 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
