Technica LLC seeks to hire a Supply Technician on a Government contract supporting Fort Wainwright, AK
Position Summary:
  • Performs technical supply management functions, including inventory management, storage operations, cataloging, and property.
  • Processes supply transactions in GCSS-Army as the system of record, including bringing equipment to record, posting receipts, issuing, lateral transfers, and turn-ins with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Maintains 100% property accountability by conducting scheduled, cyclic, and unscheduled inventories across assigned storage locations (SLOCs).
  • Researches and analyzes supply discrepancies, document errors, and rejected transactions; initiates corrective actions in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Supports property book operations and accountability requirements in coordination with the Supply Technician Lead.
  • Prepares, reviews, and maintains supply documentation (e.g., hand receipts, issue/turn-in documents, adjustment documents), ensuring compliance with Army regulations and contract requirements.
  • Compiles daily and periodic operational data to support production reports, metrics tracking, and workload analysis.
  • Receives, inspects, stores, issues, and ships equipment and materials in accordance with supply procedures and safety standards.
  • Operates materiel handling equipment (MHE) to move, load, and position supplies and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintains organized storage areas and ensures proper identification, labeling, and location accuracy of all inventory.
  • Supports audit readiness by maintaining accurate records, documentation, and traceability of all supply transactions.
  • Assists in processing Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPLs), and other accountability actions as required.
  • Coordinates with maintenance personnel to ensure timely turn-in and issue of equipment in support of operational readiness.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and professional work environment in accordance with established safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned in support of mission requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have hands-on experience with GCSS-Army; the ability to provide information, data, reports, and requisition materials using GCSS-Army is required.
  • Must possess in-depth knowledge of AESIP and Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC) applications.
  • Must have knowledge of documentation IAW Army Regulation 710-4 and associated regulations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Defense contracting experience in Property Book/Supply Operations.
  • Must have been a prior 92Y
  • Minimum 5 years of military supply experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GCSS-Army, Technical knowledge, and DA forms.

Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident and can obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
  • Must pass background screening and drug testing requirements.
  • Must be able to work in field and industrial environments, including extreme weather conditions (heat, wind, rain, snow, and blowing sand).
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods, including a minimum of two continuous hours.
  • Must be capable of climbing equipment and working at heights up to 10 feet.
  • Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must always wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing duties.

Must be available to work extended hours, weekends, or alternate shifts as mission requirements dictate.
