Job Description Description: The CAD Supervisor leads the daily operations of the CAD team, ensuring the timely creation, maintenance, and accuracy of engineering drawings and product documentation. This role supervises CAD personnel, supports engineering and manufacturing teams, and ensures data integrity across CAD, ERP, and PLM systems while driving process improvements and standardization. Responsibilities/skills: Supervise, mentor, and develop the CAD team to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.

Assign and prioritize workload to meet engineering, manufacturing, and project deadlines. Review and approve CAD drawings, models, and engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance with company standards. Develop, maintain, and enforce CAD drafting standards, best practices, and document control procedures.

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to support new product introductions, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain and manage engineering data within CAD, ERP, and PLM systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Coordinate engineering change orders (ECOs) and document revisions through the PLM and ERP systems.

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and system efficiencies across engineering processes. Provide technical support and training on CAD software, ERP, and PLM systems. Monitor team performance, establish goals, and conduct performance evaluations.

Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of professional CAD experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar). Experience working with ERP and PLM systems to manage engineering data, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering change processes. Strong understanding of drafting standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and manufacturing processes

Experience managing engineering documentation, revisions, and configuration control. Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused team environment.
