Warehouse Associate - Finished Goods
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Employment Type: Contract (30-45 days, potential extension)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85353 (Onsite)
Positions: 15 Openings
Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Warehouse Associate - Finished Goods to work on-site with our client in Phoenix, AZ. This is a short-term contract role with potential for extension supporting a solar manufacturing facility.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting material flow and finished goods operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials to ensure production and shipping timelines are met with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Inventory
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
  • Label, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies
Shipping & Distribution
  • Pick, pack, label, and palletize finished goods for shipment
  • Coordinate with shipping teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Support outbound and inbound logistics operations
Operational Support
  • Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization (5S standards)
  • Report damaged or defective materials
Collaboration & Compliance
  • Work cross-functionally with production, procurement, and logistics teams
  • Follow OSHA and company safety standards
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to PPE requirements
Qualifications
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience
  • Experience in inventory management and material handling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
Work Environment
  • Warehouse setting with exposure to temperature changes, dust, and noise
  • Requires standing, walking, lifting, and use of PPE
  • Not solely a forklift role - includes full warehouse responsibilities
