Job Title: Maintenance
Location: St. Clair Shores, MI, 48080
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs. Responsibilities include inspecting buildings, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment is in working order. The Maintenance worker will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Inspecting buildings for damage or needed repairs
  • Repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Ensuring all equipment is in working order
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment for the church, school and parish
  • Able to navigate a preventative maintenance program
  • Setup and tear down of parish and school events
  • Able to work some special events as needed throughout the year
  • Other duties as assigned by the priest or leaders
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in maintenance work
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
  • Ability to work outside during summer and winter months periodically
  • Willing to be certified annually in Asbestos prevention
  • Must attend Protecting God's Children Training
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Possess a valid drivers license
