Job Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Math tutoring services while making it fun for students

Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students

Provide personalized math instruction in elementary, middle school through Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry and Pre-Calculus.

Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes

Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium MethodTM, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting

Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework

Qualifications

A passion for math and working with students

Excellent interpersonal skills

Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2/Pre-Cal

Ability to balance various ongoing tasks

Willingness to learn, be trained and creating a fun learning experience for students

All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Following hiring, the new team member is required to complete training in the Mathnasium MethodTM. Availability in the afternoons and evenings 3-5 days/week, Monday through Thursday and Saturday morning are required. Being in closer proximity to Center location on zip codes: 77345, 77339, 77346, 77325 or 77365 will be an added advantage.
