Job description

Freeman Jet Center-Abilene is seeking to fill a line pilot position, operating a King Air 200 and King Air 90 in our Part 135 Charter Department. We provide on-demand charter services to a myriad of customers in our region.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
  • Act as Pilot-In-Command during Part 135 Operations
  • Must be able to operate a King Air 200/90 in all weather conditions, single pilot.
  • Must be able to successfully meet all training requirements in accordance with Part 135 standards.
  • Performs functional check flights post maintenance
  • Ensures the aircraft is operated in accordance with aircraft manufacturer's requirements, flight manuals, directives, company policies and specific mission procedures
  • Assists as necessary with maintenance scheduling, trip quoting for customers, and safety management.
  • Conducts pre-flight and post-flight inspections and related briefings
  • Contributes to the overall success of the program by supporting customer needs and executing duties efficiently and effectively

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current FAA Multi-Engine Commercial pilot license with Instrument Rating
  • FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • Required Flight time experience:
    • Total time - 3,000 hours
    • 1,000 hours PIC Turbine
    • 1,000 hours Multi-Engine
    • 500 hours Cross Country
    • 250 hours in Make and Model
    • Minimum 100 PIC night hours
    • 75 hours Instrument flight, actual or simulated, with 50 actual.
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to complete training, drug testing, and, as needed, a medical examination in accordance with program requirements
  • Garmin G1000 and 750 experience preferred

Schedule
  • On Demand Charter operations are driven by the customer's demands.
  • Flexibility is required. The ability to adapt to a customer's changing needs will dictate the workload, within FAA limits on flight time and duty time.
  • We strive to provide advanced notice for flights; however, notice can occasionally be limited based on the customer needs.

Reporting:
  • This position reports to the Charter Department's Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base salary of $110,000, plus a generous benefits package.
  • All expenses are reimbursed while traveling on charter flights.
