While working as a Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Associate for Adecco at our local customer base in LaPorte, IN, you will earn $19.64/hour and receive a weekly paycheck. This is a contract-only opportunity that will allow you to enhance your career while gaining manufacturing, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations experience.
Primary responsibilities include:
Receive inbound/outplant materials from vendors, including unloading trucks, dock operations, and material handling
Perform shipping and packaging activities, including marking castings (dot peen, Vibropeen, stencil) and packing parts for customer shipment
Conduct inventory control tasks, including cycle counts, maintaining finished goods inventory, and distribution to production areas
Support quality inspection and documentation, ensuring accuracy of heat codes, serial numbers, and paperwork using basic computer systems
