Job description

Job Title: Sales Development Representative
Location: 1233 W Monroe Street, Chicago, IL 60607
Duration: FTE
Salary: $55K
On-Site Requirement - 3-4 Days/Week In-Office, need to be Flexible on In-Office Days (based on business needs). Also, must be available to be In-Office 4-5 Days/Week during Training/Onboarding.
Responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. They must research potential clients, connect with (via cold calls & email) and educate prospects,. and qualify leads before handing them off to the sales team.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead management and proactive outbound prospecting
  • Develop an effective pipeline of new projects and customers
  • Generate appointments by means of lead activity management
  • Market company’s solutions to potential customers
  • Work with the marketing to discover opportunities from various leads resources
  • Set up appointments
  • Track and maintain customer contact information and outreach schedule
  • Attend customer meetings as required
  • Participate in sales meetings, local trade shows, and vendor training in order to maintain up to date knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 2+ Years Experience as a Sales Representative, AE, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Must have the ability to interact and communicate with individuals across the organization
  • Understanding of workflow systems of the organization, and their various applications to the improvement of customer business processes
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to Sales Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
