Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tower Climber to support wireless telecommunications projects throughout Arizona. The ideal candidate will have previous tower climbing experience and possess active climbing and rigging certifications. This position is based in Phoenix but requires occasional travel to project sites across the state.


You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wireless communication equipment on cellular towers and related structures while adhering to all safety standards and company procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Climb telecommunications towers and structures to perform installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Install, remove, and troubleshoot antennas, radios, coax, fiber, and associated equipment.
  • Perform rigging operations and safely hoist equipment to elevated work areas.
  • Conduct tower inspections and identify deficiencies or safety concerns.
  • Complete testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of wireless systems.
  • Follow all OSHA, carrier, and company safety requirements.
  • Document work performed and submit required project reports.
  • Travel throughout Arizona as needed to support customer projects.


Requirements

  • Active Climbing Certification (required)
  • Active Rigging Certification (required)
  • Previous tower climbing experience in the wireless telecommunications industry.
  • Experience working on LTE, 5G, and broadband wireless projects preferred.
  • Ability to work at heights in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel throughout Arizona and occasionally work overtime as needed.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.


Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Experience with antenna and line installation, fiber, and equipment commissioning.
  • Experience working on carrier projects such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or Dish.
