Pay: $24.00-28.50 / Hour

Responsibilities

Your Duties:

As Facilities Support, you will maintain, coordinate, and support maintaining the 5S and BRC standards for facilities with a goal of being "Tour Ready" every day. 

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work safely in a manner that protects and promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
  • Lead small groups of employees on 5s and housekeeping projects as needed.
  • Work alongside the Quality Services and Maintenance Teams with all tasks.
  • Responsible for meeting scheduled maintenance of 5S standards for all Buildings/Grounds such as scheduled painting, sealing, and cleaning of walls and floors.
  • Work independently and prioritize multiple work tasks.
  • Effectively procure resources and information as necessary to perform 5S activities
  • Assist with maintaining the 5S Red Tag area by labeling, set up, and communication of items for disposal and / or company bid sales.
  • May be needed to assist with snow removal/salting near plant exits during normal shift hours as an exception. May also include salting pedestrian parking lot crosswalks and company sidewalk/steps, including access to recycling bins and resin silos.
  • Provide assistance to the TPM team members in TPM tasks as required.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

We need you to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mobile equipment operation.
  • Ability to read and understand layouts (CAD drawings) of buildings and floor plans.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools such as drills and grinders.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Computer literacy including the ability to use email and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize and direct work.
  •  Mobile equipment operation.

Icing on the cake:

  • Sanitation/Cleaning work would be a plus.
  • Work such as construction & painting.
  • Prior mechanical and/or electrical experience
