What is a 504 coordinator?

504 coordinators are education professionals responsible for ensuring that students with disabilities receive the accommodations and support they need under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. They work with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop, implement, and monitor 504 plans, which outline the specific accommodations each student requires.
