Job description

This position is primarily split between our Hamtramck and Troy locations, with approximately 50% of your time at each site. The exact distribution may vary slightly based on client needs and caseloads, but the role is generally a 50/50 split.
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

This schedule provides a consistent daytime workweek while supporting clients across both locations.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and administer applied behavior analysis (ABA) intervention programs for children with autism and related disabilities in the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Responsibilities include program development, supervision of ABA, parent/teacher training, business, marketing and philanthropic activities to promote and develop the program in the Health System and the community at large. Actively participates in a multi-disciplinary team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Master's degree in a developmental field (e.g., education, psychology, speech-language) and Board Certification (BCBA) by the national Behavior Analysis Certification Board is required.
  • At least one year experience of providing direct ABA services to children with autism spectrum disorders and supervision of therapists.
  • Experience consulting with families, educational, and clinical staff is desired. Five years preferred.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized individual. Able to work independently but also within a team environment.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours and able available by phone/email, as needed by clinical staff and CADD Director.
