Burgess & Niple is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager/Sr. Design Engineer. Join our team to create meaningful solutions that strengthen communities while advancing your professional expertise.
B&N Water/Wastewater Project Manager/Sr. Design Engineer Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects. Projects may include designs of wastewater collection system sewers, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, booster stations, and/or studies of wastewater and water systems
  • Coordinate with B&N project teams, internally and externally
  • Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management
  • Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery process
  • Promote a positive team environment that enhances our exceptional corporate culture
  • Maintain quality control of services and deliverables
  • Provide mentoring and training to younger staff.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Ohio.
  • 10+ years of related water/wastewater experience
  • Self-motivated and adaptable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Project management experience a plus. Treatment process knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Hydraulic modeling of collection systems and/or distribution systems is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or hydraulic modeling software is a plus
