Job description

Job Title:Returns & Mini-Mod Supervisor
Location: Mooresville, Indiana

The Role

Supervises and coordinates the activities and associates of the Returns Department. Responsible for the accuracy and punctuality of all returns, including but not limited to credit customer accounts for product returns, evaluate merchandise for defects. Reconcile invoices and credits for the credit department and customer service. Handles and support with refusals and its process.

Supervises and coordinates associates for maximum safety, and productivity without sacrificing quality.

Will report and support the Operations Manager with returns record keeping, staffing needs, overtime needed, and or staff reduction when business changes.Assists and supports operations manager by identifying work procedures, prepare work schedules, train and develop associates, and expedite workflow.

Your Impact

You will provide leadership support to the returns department and support the operations departments as needed. Delivering high efficiencies in the assigned KPI's to meet both the internal and external customers.

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and support the returns department and delegate job responsibilities to associates. Timekeeping of associates; including scheduling of lunches, breaks. Keep a steady workflow within the department.
  • Assist in identifying associates that perform below the set goals and retrain if necessary. Train team members on proper procedures. Verifying all processes are performed accurately and to ensure completeness of the job.
  • Ensure associates have the equipment & tools needed to perform duties successful. Perform regular department safety walkthroughs and follow safety protocols & policies.
  • Remain in communication with leadership & management to ensure support is available. Communicate regular headcounts of the shift. Report any changes in the department.
  • Credits customer accounts for shoes returned. Evaluates returned merchandise for defects, overstock, etc. Supports with creating standard operating procedures for the department.
  • Monitors effectiveness and productivity to ensure goals are met. Research old invoices and credits for the Credit Department and Customer Service. Handles refusals and its process. Runs labels if needed, scans all cartons for put away or Back to Stock merchandise.
