Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately hiring an Indigo Digital Press Support Engineer to support a nationally recognized Consumer & Commercial Electronics R&D organization in Alpharetta, GA.
Summary:
This role is ideal for experienced Indigo professionals who want to leverage their press expertise in a modern, remote support environment-without the physical demands of constant on-site service. If you've worked hands-on with Indigo presses and enjoy deep troubleshooting, diagnostics, and customer problem-solving, this role allows you to apply your knowledge at scale while helping transform how Indigo support is delivered. This is not a call center role-it's advanced technical support for Indigo environments, focused on quality, speed, and customer success.
Why Indigo Experts Choose This Role:
* Stay close to the technology without living on the road
* Use your Indigo knowledge to solve complex issues remotely
* Move beyond break/fix into root cause analysis and proactive resolution
* Influence product, service, and support improvements using real-world press insight
* Partner directly with customers, field engineers, and teams
What You'll Do:
* Provide end-to-end remote technical support for Indigo digital printing systems using diagnostic tools, logs, and system data
* Troubleshoot issues related to press performance, print quality, mechanical/electrical subsystems, consumables, and workflows
* Resolve 75%+ of cases remotely, minimizing customer downtime and unnecessary site visits
* Perform deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring Indigo press issues
* Identify systemic patterns across customers, press models, and configurations
* Document findings and contribute to Indigo knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, and best practices
* Act as a trusted technical advisor to Indigo customers
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with Indigo digital presses (operator, technician, field engineer, or remote support), Series 3 presses are preferred
* Strong understanding of press hardware, print quality, workflows, and troubleshooting
* Experience diagnosing issues across mechanical, electrical, and system components
* Comfort working directly with customers in a remote, consultative environment
* Ability to document findings clearly and contribute to shared knowledge
Bonus Experience (Not Required):
* Indigo certifications
* DFE, front-end, or workflow support exposure
* Prior remote support or escalation team experience
What You'll Gain:
* Competitive pay and full-time stability with Kforce, a long-term partner
* A career progression path beyond the press room or field service
* Exposure to enterprise-scale Indigo environments and R&D collaboration
* An opportunity to help modernize how Indigo support is delivered globally
