Material Handler Job Description
Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $16–$17/hour
Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support daily production operations by moving materials, staging supplies, and ensuring production teams have what they need. This is a hands-on warehouse/production role. Forklift experience is not required. Experience using any type of RF scanner is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Use an RF scanner or handheld barcode scanner to track inventory.
  • Stage materials for production.
  • Deliver materials to production lines.
  • Load, unload, and organize products and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • Warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience using any type of RF scanner or barcode scanner.
  • Forklift experience is not required.
  • Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
