Pay: $16-18/hour
Shift: 330pm - 4am Mon-Thurs
Additional Overtime: Voluntary OT on Friday, up to 5 hours
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid
Looking for Material Handlers! Staffing Inc is hiring 1st shift Material Handlers.. Great opportunity for hands-on manufacturing experience in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect products to verify conformance to customer specifications.
  • Complete Progress report - identify the job and the starting time
  • Review the Work Order for special instructions
  • Assure the set-up is correct for the job
  • Assure the station layout, tags and labels are appropriate for the job
  • Complete Sign-Off check list and have it signed by the appropriate person
  • Inspect parts - assure patents and margins are correct with no blotches
  • Perform hand manipulation when required - peeling waste off the part
  • Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
  • Set and verify parts clearances.
  • Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments such as punch box or templates.
  • Cut trim parts for assembly.
  • Examine completed workpieces for defects such as chipped edges and marred surfaces.
  • Set up, operate, or tend machines to slit or punch material.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Must Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
  • Must have reliable transportation, not including bus line

Physical Demands:
  • This position involves sitting for long periods of time
  • Lifting capability of up to 25-50 lbs.
  • Constant upper body movement, including use of arms and hands, bending and twisting.
