Work Environment

Our Woodbridge location operates out of a well-equipped rehabilitation center designed to foster patient recovery and clinician collaboration. The onsite facility is centered around creating a welcoming and healing atmosphere for both patients and staff. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, requiring a 40-hour shift where you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement tailored treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients’ functional capabilities and needs, ensuring clear alignment with the physician’s plan of care.
  • Deliver specialized therapeutic services across various patient populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
  • Provide ongoing education and consultation to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with the knowledge and techniques needed for successful recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to monitor effectiveness and adapt care strategies as needed.
  • Actively meet established minimum utilization goals and contribute to business objectives, including participation in community outreach and health initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, ranging from children to seniors, who require rehabilitation for various conditions—from sports injuries to chronic pain management. You will play a crucial role in guiding them through their rehabilitation journey, employing a holistic approach that considers physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors influencing recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE-approved).
  • Current physical therapy license to practice in the State of New Jersey.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to foster effective connections with patients and caregivers.
  • Proficient in computer skills and word processing to maintain accurate patient records.
  • A commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships and fostering a positive impact within the community.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting focusing on one or more specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, or sports medicine is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize research-derived methodologies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Experience engaging in community services or health initiatives would be a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
