Where You'll Make a Difference
  • Perform maintenance support across mechanical, electrical, civil, and general trade functions during the 3rd shift (night shift) to ensure continuous plant operation.
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment across plant and office environments.
  • Assemble, move, and transport material-handling equipment as needed.
  • Carry out site-preparation tasks including drain cleaning, concrete work, partitioning, and basic construction support.
  • Perform routine lubrication, equipment cleaning, and pulling electrical wiring under supervision.
  • Conduct routine inspections and follow preventive maintenance tasks through the SAP maintenance module.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, records of parts, tools, and maintenance activities.
  • Follow all safety and quality requirements including ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, GMPs, HACCP, and company policies.
  • Support general facility upkeep, including repair of pumps, motors, boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, packaging machinery, and building fixtures.

What Makes You the Right Fit
  • Background or training in mechanical, electrical, or related technical fields; technical degree or apprenticeship is a plus.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing production equipment.
  • Ability to work independently during night-shift hours while staying aligned with daytime operations.
  • Skilled in the safe use of tools required for maintenance, including benders, spanners, cutters, and hand tools.
  • Able to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal procedures and work instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues.
  • Basic math skills, including percentages and decimals, and ability to use English/Metric measurements.
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to maintain high hygiene standards in manufacturing environments.
  • Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs., climb ladders/stairs, maneuver through the plant, and wear PPE/respiratory protection as required.

  • Formal technical education, certification, or state apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical field.
  • Experience performing maintenance in a food, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience using SAP or similar maintenance/plant-management systems.
