Job description

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Heat Treat Operator is responsible for all furnace checks, gas checks, and log recordings; loading of furnaces and unloading per recipe and alarm; providing additional support to part setting as is necessary.  Respect for quality and safety are crucial.

This is an 8 hour shift Sunday through Thursday 11:00 pm through 7:30 am.  


The successful candidate will have a:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. intermittently.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours.
  • Respect for and adherence to safety guidelines.

Minimum starting pay is from $20.00/hr. for no production experience and higher for candidates having experience in a production environment.  Additional $1.25/hr. pay for any hours worked 5 pm to 5 am.   In exchange, Dowa offers a competitive wage, an outstanding benefits package, with a zero deductible medical plan, dental, vision, short and long term disability, life insurance, 401(k), and PTO.  All  hires must complete a comprehensive background check including criminal and a 9 panel drug test.  Only candidates with a stable work history will be considered.
