Job description

Job Summary:

Performs inspection and packaging of plastic parts. Adheres to all plant and OSHA safety policies and regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and understand SOP for the job
  • Maintains established cycle time/quota (parts per hour)
  • Inform Supervisor of any issues encountered while running job or performing secondary operations
  • Completes all production paperwork with accuracy (routing slips and scrap counts)
  • Assists in line clearance activities
  • Understands ISO procedures as it pertains to the job
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work with coworkers in a team environment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • English language proficiency to include verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain and understand records and data, as well as complete required shift documentation
  • Must be motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed
  • Continuous mental and visual to production of quality parts
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings (criminal background check and drug screening)
    Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations

Education and Experience:

  • High School or general education degree (GED) required
  • 0-6 Months Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand entire shift (8+ hours)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Requires manual dexterity
  • Moderate physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment
  • Frequently moves from waist level to floor level
