Job description

* This is 3rd shift 10pm-5am PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Configuration as code for infrastructure, system configuration, and application deployments
2) Design and deploy cloud solutions on AWS
3) Automate operations and maintenance activities
4) Review security scan reports and address findings
5) Apply patches, upgrades, and application deployments
6) Monitor application availability and aide in resolving operational issues
7) Other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience with system administration of RPM-based Linux distributions (Amazon Linux, RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
• 3+ years of automation experience with AWS cloud services (VPC, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, etc)
• Experience with fully automated infrastructure, system, and application deployment with technologies like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience with shell scripting
• Experience with government and industry security standards (CIS, STIG, or NIST 800-53) and remediating issues identified during security audits
• Experience with version control and CI/CD pipeline tools
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Preferred:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, DevOps Engineer – Professional, or Security – Specialty
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with SELinux
