Job description

Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Building Sciences group in the Grapevine office.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
  • Leadership of a technical or project related team
  • Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
  • Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical structural engineering solutions
  • Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
  • Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards
  • Mentor junior level engineering staff
  • Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies
  • Assist in the review of analysis of building component failures and third party review of construction documents and specifications for building envelope components
  • Support (either directing or on occasion assist) with field testing, as needed, including window water spray testing, blower door testing, thermographic (infrared) inspections and waterproofing/air barrier testing/inspections

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in structural, civil, or related engineering required
  • Master's degree (MS) in structural, civil, or related engineering optional
  • Three or more years of civil or structural engineering experience
  • Experience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferred
  • Professional Engineer registration/licensure in TX or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months
  • Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis

Compensation

Compensation Range: $80,000.00 - $119,000.00
