Job description

PROFILE
The Solutions Consultant works with the Additive Manufacturing Sales team with industry leading 3D Scanning OEMS like Artec and Zeiss. The main goal of the role is to technically support the Sales team to enable our clients to implement advanced 3D scanning technologies. In this role, the Solutions Consultant provides all range of customer support from initial technology demonstrations and discussions to post sales consulting and training. It is the Solutions Consultant's responsibility to identify the best solution for the client and help assure proper implementation of that product. The Solutions Consultant should have a keen eye for spotting additional service or software opportunities that may arise throughout the relationship with the client. This person will have the interpersonal skills necessary to foster positive long-term relationships and strong presentation skills are required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a high level of expertise with all TriMech products demonstrating such through achievement of technical certifications including Artec and Zeiss 3D Scanners.
  • Responsible for representing TriMech Solutions as local branding.
  • Work with Account Managers to discover client needs/concerns of TriMech products and services and help create the future vision of that product implementation.
  • Capture client feedback for marketing and other departments to evaluate.
  • Maintain and help create relationships with TriMech clients.
  • As part of the Sales team, support sales to win opportunities by evaluating projects and providing technical solutions for customers.
  • Perform 3D scanners as well as software demonstrations for prospects and clients.
  • Assist customers to identify best solution for product manufacturability.
  • Create data sets and show 3D scanner as well as software functionality for custom demonstrations, as required.
  • Conduct webinars and seminar presentations, etc.
  • Help identify sales opportunities from a technical perspective.
  • Conduct technical and process-oriented visits for existing clients.
  • Technical liaison... interface with clients and prospects on a technical level.
  • Provide Service or project work as required.
  • Provide Technical Support as required.
  • Passionate thought leader in 3D Scanners
  • Conduct regularly scheduled in person or online 3D scanner related training classes.
  • Work with clients to create custom training classes and proper curriculum.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and level of the role.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Good SOLIDWORKS or 3D CAD skills.
  • Good understanding of metrology principles.
  • Ability to get into high security facilities.
  • (Any CMM/Optical Measurement experience)
  • Good to know any inspection software such as PolyWorks/PCDMIS/ControlX, Zeiss Inspect)
  • Working knowledge of part inspection process, GD&T, and First Article inspection is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge
  • Excellent customer relationship building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work in a busy environment and be adaptable to an ever-changing daily/weekly schedule of tasks.
  • Ability to travel as much as 2 days/week including an overnight stay on occasion.
  • Must be a self-starter that needs little management oversight to accomplish assigned tasks.

COMPENSATION
  • $65,000 - $70,000
