En tant que Lead Artist, vous jouerez un rle cl dans la dfinition, lexcution et le maintien de la vision visuelle dun nouveau jeu mobile multi-joueur.


Vous serez la personne de rfrence pour assurer la cohrence artistique globale du projet, en supervisant la cration et la validation des assets visuels incluant personnages, environnements et lments interactifs depuis la conception jusqu leur intgration en jeu.


Dot.e dune forte sensibilit artistique, dune solide expertise en production 3D et dun excellent jugement visuel, vous collaborez troitement avec les quipes Production, Design, Programmation et partenaires externes afin de garantir une direction artistique cohrente, engageante et fidle la vision du produit.

Ce rle combine leadership artistique, supervision de production et contribution hands-on, avec un impact direct sur lidentit visuelle et la qualit globale du jeu.


RESPONSABILITS

Direction Artistique & Cohrence Visuelle

  • Assurer la cohrence visuelle globale du projet travers tous les assets 3D
  • Contribuer dfinir et faire voluer la direction artistique du jeu en collaboration avec lquipe de leadership
  • tablir et maintenir les standards de qualit artistique du projet
  • Veiller ce que chaque asset sintgre harmonieusement dans lunivers visuel du jeu

Production 3D

  • Participer activement la cration dassets 3D de haute qualit, incluant personnages, environnements, props et lments interactifs
  • Superviser la conception, la modlisation, le texturing et loptimisation des assets
  • Garantir une qualit visuelle leve tout en respectant les contraintes techniques mobile
  • Assurer une bonne lisibilit des lments visuels en contexte de gameplay

Supervision & Validation

  • Rviser, valider et approuver les assets artistiques avant leur intgration en jeu
  • Fournir du feedback clair et constructif afin dlever la qualit globale de la production
  • Effectuer les suivis ncessaires pour assurer le respect des standards visuels
  • Identifier rapidement les carts de qualit ou de direction artistique et proposer des solutions

Collaboration & Production

  • Collaborer troitement avec les quipes Production, Design, Programmation et Art
  • Participer la planification artistique dans un contexte de production structur par milestones
  • Supporter les dcisions de production lies aux priorits artistiques et aux chanciers
  • Contribuer lamlioration des workflows et pipelines de production

Gestion des Approbations Externes

  • Collaborer avec les partenaires externes et/ou licensors pour assurer la conformit aux standards de marque
  • Prparer et prsenter les assets pour approbation

QUALIFICATIONS

Exprience & connaissances

  • 5+ Annes dexprience progressive en art 3D dans le jeu vido
  • Exprience significative en leadership artistique ou supervision dquipe
  • Exprience dmontre en cration de personnages et denvironnements 3D
  • Portfolio dmontrant une forte expertise artistique et un excellent sens de la direction visuelle
  • Excellente matrise dun ou plusieurs outils de production 3D (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max ou quivalent)
  • Excellente matrise des workflows de modeling, sculpting, texturing et rendering
  • Bonne comprhension des contraintes de production sur mobile
  • Exprience avec Unity (un fort atout)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Lead Artist, you will play a key role in defining, executing, and maintaining the visual vision of a new multiplayer mobile game.


You will serve as the go-to person for ensuring the overall artistic consistency of the project by overseeing the creation and validation of visual assets, including characters, environments, and interactive elements, from concept through in-game integration.


With strong artistic sensibility, solid expertise in 3D production, and excellent visual judgment, you will collaborate closely with Production, Design, Programming, and external partners to ensure a cohesive, engaging art direction that stays true to the product vision.

This role combines artistic leadership, production oversight, and hands-on contribution, with direct impact on the games visual identity and overall quality.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Art Direction & Visual Consistency

  • Ensure overall visual consistency across all 3D assets in the project
  • Contribute to defining and evolving the games art direction in collaboration with the leadership team
  • Establish and maintain the projects artistic quality standards
  • Ensure every asset integrates seamlessly into the games visual universe

3D Production

  • Actively contribute to the creation of high-quality 3D assets, including characters, environments, props, and interactive elements
  • Oversee asset design, modeling, texturing, and optimization
  • Ensure high visual quality while respecting mobile technical constraints
  • Ensure strong visual readability of assets in gameplay context

Supervision & Validation

  • Review, validate, and approve artistic assets before in-game integration
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to elevate overall production quality
  • Follow up as needed to ensure visual standards are met
  • Quickly identify quality or art direction deviations and propose solutions

Collaboration & Production

  • Collaborate closely with Production, Design, Programming, and Art teams
  • Participate in art planning within a milestone-driven production environment
  • Support production decisions related to artistic priorities and timelines
  • Contribute to improving production workflows and pipelines

External Approval Management

  • Collaborate with external partners and/or licensors to ensure brand compliance
  • Prepare and present assets for approval

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Knowledge

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in 3D art within the video game industry
  • Significant experience in artistic leadership or team supervision
  • Proven experience creating 3D characters and environments
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong artistic expertise and excellent visual direction
  • Strong proficiency in one or more 3D production tools (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or equivalent)
  • Strong mastery of modeling, sculpting, texturing, and rendering workflows
  • Good understanding of mobile production constraints
  • Experience with Unity (a strong asset)
