About Us:
We are a custom home builder specializing in high-end residential construction in the Tampa Bay area. With a commitment to quality, detail, and personalized design, we create unique homes that reflect each client’s vision. We’re currently seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter to join our in-house design team.
Position Summary
:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter with 3–5 years of experience, strong proficiency in Revit, and solid working knowledge of the Florida Building Codes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential construction drafting, and prior involvement in custom home design is highly preferred.
This position is 100% on-site at our Tampa office. Remote work is not available.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate architectural drawings, construction documents, and detailed plans using Revit
  • Interpret redlines and work closely with designers, engineers, and permitting agencies
  • Ensure all plans comply with Florida Building Codes and local jurisdictional requirements
  • Assist in plan revisions, shop drawing reviews, and coordination with consultants and subcontractors
  • Maintain organized drawing sets, project files, and version control
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate project requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • Revise and update drawings as needed, ensuring all modifications meet client and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct code analysis and incorporate relevant requirements into project documentation.
  • Support project milestones by meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of architectural drafting experience in residential construction
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of Florida Building Codes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and permit requirements
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with construction documentation standards and detailing practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional certifications in architectural drafting or building codes.
  • Experience with 3D rendering software or building information modeling (BIM).
  • Experience with custom homes is highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
