3D Generalist and Motion Designer

Marketing & Design

Go Abacus is looking for a talented and versatile 3D Generalist and Motion Designer to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content that communicates the value of our hardware products across digital channels, including LinkedIn, Google Ads, and X. You will own the end-to-end creation of 3D product renders, 3D product animations, 2D motion graphics, and AI-generated video content.

Responsibilities
  • Develop realistic 3D renders and animations of hardware products for use across paid and organic marketing campaigns
  • Model 3D product designs, build textures, and light scenes for realistic animations and still renders
  • Craft 2D motion graphics and composite into existing videos
  • Create and edit AI-generated video content optimized for LinkedIn, Google Ads, and X, adapting formats and specifications for each platform
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop visual concepts that align with campaign goals and brand standards
  • Manage design assets and project review workflows in Frame.io, maintaining organized file structures and version control
  • Design marketing collateral, including social graphics, ad creative, presentations, and one-pagers, using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Deliver final assets on-time across multiple concurrent projects
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a design, motion, or video production role with a portfolio demonstrating 3D rendering and video editing work
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or equivalent)
  • Experience compositing in After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Blender or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with AI video generation tools (e.g., Google Flow or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
  • Experience with Frame.io for video review, collaboration, and asset management and Figma for design collaboration and asset creation
  • Knowledge of video specifications and best practices for LinkedIn, Google Ads, and X
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style
  • Experience producing visual content for hardware or physical products
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly
