Position Summary

The Print Team Technician is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for supporting and executing labor tasks within VeroTouchโ€™s 3D-printed homebuilding process. This role is well-suited for someone with a construction background who is eager to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


The Print Team Technician works directly alongside the print and operations teams on active job sites. The role emphasizes efficient execution, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt. No prior experience with 3D printing is required โ€” a strong work ethic and construction fundamentals are the foundation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

3D Printing Support

  • Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of 3D construction printing equipment on active job sites.
  • Support the print team with equipment staging, material handling, and site preparation before and during print operations.
  • Monitor print progress and flag issues or anomalies to the lead technician.
  • Assist with post-print cleanup, equipment breakdown, and site organization.

Concrete and Material Handling

  • Support concrete batching plant operations by assisting with material loading, mixing preparation, and quality checks.
  • Handle and transport raw materials, admixtures, and supplies to support daily production needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of material usage and assist with inventory tracking.

Site Labor and Maintenance

  • Execute general construction labor tasks efficiently as directed, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling and movement.
  • Operate a variety of heavy construction equipment, execute routine maintenance procedures, and perform basic diagnostics while adhering to strict safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and site-specific standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout all phases of the project to support operational efficiency and compliance.

Team Support

  • Collaborate effectively with the print team, operations staff, and on-site crews to consistently achieve daily production goals.
  • Receive direction from lead technicians and respond promptly and efficiently to evolving site conditions and priorities.
  • Demonstrate a proactive learning mindset and a strong willingness to embrace new responsibilities as technical skills and experience develop.

Education

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in construction, industrial labor, or a related technical field.
  • Proven hands-on experience operating and maintaining construction tools, heavy equipment, and machinery in active job site environments.
