Compensation: $20.00/hr during training | $28.00/hr post-certification + 20% travel premium, production bonuses, and travel allowances

3DCP Companies is at the forefront of smart construction technology, pioneering the future of 3D Construction Printing (3DCP). We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking 3DCP Print Technician / Mix Master to manage cementitious materials and power our cutting-edge printing operations.
Position Summary
The 3DCP Print Technician/Mix Master (Cementitious Materials Specialist) is a specialized, hands-on position responsible for the quality, consistency, preparation, logistics, and delivery of cementitious materials used in the 3D Construction Printing process.
The Print Technician/Mix Master is responsible for managing the material supply chain from raw- material storage and inventory control through batching, mixing, quality testing, pumping, cleaning, and equipment maintenance. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that material delivered to the 3D printer consistently meets established specifications for rheology, flow, pump-ability, set time, and
structural performance. Consistent and compliant material quality is a primary performance requirement of this position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Material Batching & Mixing: Manage supply chains from raw storage to mixing, ensuring cementitious materials meet strict specifications for flow, set time, and structural strength. Perform daily startup, batching, and shutdown of mixers and pumps.
  • Site Preparation & Support: Maintain an organized and safe site. Assist with pre-print setup, stage materials, and support print crews and finishers during operation.
  • Printer Mobilization & Relocation: Help deconstruct, transport, level, and reassemble large 3D printer gantry components at new project sites alongside engineering staff.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, service, and clear hardened material from pumps, hoses, and batch plants to keep machinery operating reliably.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in general construction, heavy-duty trades, or industrial outdoor environments.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift/carry up to 100 lbs frequently and work extended shifts on your feet in dynamic job-site conditions.
  • Travel Readiness: Valid Driver's License and valid Passport required for domestic and international project deployments.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Concrete/ACI testing certifications, forklift, or heavy equipment experience.
Compensation & Perks
  • Training Program: Paid 8-week training program based in Tooele, UT at $20.00/hr starting rate (begins within 2 weeks of hire).
  • Post-Certification Pay: $28.00/hr upon successful completion.
  • Travel Perks: 20% hourly rate premium during travel assignments, plus production bonus opportunities.
  • Travel Covered: Full company coverage for lodging, 3 meals per day, and round-trip flights home during standard 7-week on-site rotation schedules.
