Mammographer / Radiology Technologist | Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mammographer to join our growing team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full-time, employee-centric organization. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.

New to Mammography? We offer paid initial training to help you get started in this rewarding specialty.

Anticipated Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • No weekends or on-call
  • Weekly guarantee of hours

Responsibilities:

  • Screening mammography at clinics, corporate and community outreach locations within the Twin Cities metro area
  • Team of two mammographers or one mammographer and an assistant working together on a 26’ straight truck equivalent mobile mammography unit equipped with Hologic 3D mammography system
  • Mammographers and/or assistants drive the mobile unit to the screening locations

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology program
  • Must be registered with ARRT, American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists or Licensed to perform general radiographic procedures
  • Prefer 40 hours of training in mammography. Willing to train
  • Ability to drive or experience driving equivalent to 26’ straight truck. Willing to train
  • Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision
  • Must be able to interact in responsible, professional and ethical manner
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must possess valid Class D Drivers’ License. CDL NOT REQUIRED
  • Must have acceptable driving record
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical
  • Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills
