Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Intern to join our team for the summer. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional design environment while contributing to real projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with space planning, concept development, and design presentations
- Create mood boards, material palettes, and furniture selections
- Support the team with CAD drawings, 3D models, and renderings
- Conduct research on materials, finishes, and industry trends
- Help prepare client presentations and project documentation
- Attend site visits, client meetings, and vendor showroom tours (when applicable)
- Perform general administrative and project support tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Interior Design or related program
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong visual, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for design
- Basic knowledge of materials, furniture, and spatial planning is an asset
